The Calgary Urban Harvest Project is directed by Adrian Buckley of Big Sky Permaculture, and is now a sponsored project under the Calgary Permaculture Guild, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to building capacity and local solutions for energy, water and food challenges in Calgary and beyond.
The Calgary Urban Harvest Project has the purpose of turning a fallen fruit problem into a local food solution by harvesting all unused fruit from Calgary's collective municipal and domestic fruit trees. We are looking for apples and crabapples, pears, cherries, blackberries, raspberries, saskatoons, blueberries!
